From Then To Now

From my first camera as a young school boy, a very cheap plastic toy that cost less than the film to put in it; to the present day array of digital options, I have always enjoyed photography as a hobby.

I like to keep my kit reasonably simple and enjoy shooting both 35mm film and digital images, plus experimenting with pinhole photography.

Working on military helicopter sighting systems during my time in the Army and instructing on afterwards, started my interest with Infra-red photography.

For 25 years I worked part time at a number of schools and colleges, privileged to help start many photographers, aged from 8 to 80+, on their photography journey.

I now run my own photography training, both practical sessions on locations and on-line training events.

I feel privileged that so many of my past students remain in touch and allow me to share in their photography adventures .... a big "Thank You" to each and every one of you.
